  I was so glad to find an outdoor gun range that was appropriately priced and an easy drive from Georgetown. I’ve been going to Eagle Peak for a long time but when I wanted to bring a guest is was going to be $15 plus another $15 for initial fee. If Eagle Peak has a lot of shooters, it can take a long time to get in the amount of shooting you want. Lonestar was great because I could should 3 rounds, go check my targets, mark them and get back to it. They have individual rifle ranges where 3 or 4 shooters use at a time, therefore, you can self-regulate on when you want to do cease-fire, etc. They have a pistol range bench at 25 yards but have it marked at the standard yard markings for NRA.
  Lastly, the guys there were very nice and approachable. I will be telling all my friends to check it out next time. They had ear and eye protection to loan you if you fail to bring yours at no extra expense. This will be our gun range of choice moving forward.
